Thanks for your question. Many companies offer credit card processing capability with the Casio machines.
Obviously, it's important for any merchant to review the POS systems' price as well as the complete fee structure to accept credit cards.

Definitely beats the old style registers and manual inventory methods.
Hi Steve,
I'm with you. I, too, believe that these POS systems represent a technological advance to the old style registers and provide important benefits to merchants -- worthy of any additional expense. (Some companies, including ours, try to make such machines affordable; we charge $79 per year for certain Casio models.)

Hi Loyd,
It appears that Casio provides a one year warranty for parts and 90 days after labor is provided. Please see:
http://tinyurl.com/ygnqpgg
***Self-promotion warning *** - By renting our Casio electronic cash register for $79 a year, we can swap a terminal that is malfunctioning with a terminal that works as long as the problem is with a part or machine defect. (If vandalism, for example, has taken place, such a swap will not occur.)

At least this is better than having manual inventory methods...
I'm in complete agreement. It's so much easier and convenient when one has an automated inventory system in place.

I did not know the machine [has so many uses]. Really interesting post. Otherwise, I enjoy studying similar products...
Hello is there anybody outside who has experience with CASIO cash registers?
Hi Guska,
I think it would be worthwhile if you call Casio directly. I don't know where you reside so please go to the Casio website (www.casio.com) for the relevant phone number.
If you have any specific questions on the Casio cash register, please let me know and I will do my best to provide an answer.

I use this system at my work. I did not purchase it. But it is a great product and system. I would suggest it to anybody from a start up company one with multiple locations.
Hi Chuck,
I'm so glad that the system is working well for you! Thanks for your comment.

I agree that it makes things so much easier and convenient when you have an automated inventory system in place but I have to admit that I was pretty naive when it comes to this product and the services it can offer.
Hi Matt,
Please give yourself time to learn the nuances of the device. There is a learning curve and merchants typically become enamored with the machine once they master how it works and the benefits that may be derived.

In my experience Casio makes some solid products that last into the future. Just look at their calculators people are still using the same ones for years and they still meet [FTC] standards.
Hi Ama,
Thanks for your comment!
Casio was founded in 1946 and owes its great longevity due to the dependability and durability of its products.

Thanks Andy for creating article about Casio Machine.
I am looking forward to know about its disadvantages.

Thanks for your comment. Technology is not perfect ... and if it were, there would be no need for new technology.
The primary disadvantage with the Casio POS is that the journal (i.e. ,the history of transactions) cannot be downloaded into an Excel spreadsheet.)

I don't understand most of your blog [entry]. But I think it is good through other people's comments.
I'm sorry that the entry is a little technical, especially when noting the benefits.
Long story short: These POS units are great! We are so confident with the benefits that these systems offer, we're providing the units at no upfront cost to our clients and just charging $79 per year.
