I like your post. it is very interesting. I am very thankful for your providing [this information].
A great gadget to my view so I'll surely try it the other day.
Im impressed, I must say. Very rarely do I come across a blog thats both informative and entertaining, and let me tell you, youve hit the nail on the head. Your blog is important; the issue is something that not enough people are talking intelligently about. Im really happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this issue.
... I wanted to say that it's nice to know that someone else also mentioned this as I had trouble finding the same info elsewhere. This was the first place that told me the answer. Thanks!
I’ve recently started a blog, the information you provide on this site has helped me tremendously. Thank you for all of your time & work.
this type of machines are useful for those clumsy clerks who dont take care of their cash register. I know a few who would place almost anything atop of their register and wouldnt bother cleaning it up even though it is already unpleasant to see.
You make an excellent point. We want these credit card terminals to be durable and last for years which underscores the importance of taking care of the equipment.
Thanks for reading my blog!

You unfortunatley will pay for this and every FREE terminal through the rediculously high surcharges that they peg you with because of the type of rates you are set up with...you will see and know for sure that nothing is free...especiall when you are paying 4.5% for the bulk of your transactions
Hi Mel,
Thanks for your comment and it's certainly true that any "FREE" product or service can have a multitude of strings attached.
However, there are processors who offer terminals or POS systems as a loss leader and still charge extremely competitive credit card processing rates.
We charge $79 per year for a POS system (this is a rental, not a lease!) and any prospective client should find our fee structure as good as or better than the rates quoted by competitors.
But it's so important to factor ALL the fees when making a decision as to which processor to use and not just choose a company that's offering a product at no initial charge.
But Mel, I agree that too many companies waive one cost ... only to charge much more for another type of cost.
I really appreciate your reading the blog and offering such a thoughtful response!
